Setup a Maintenance Mode Page in Atria

Setup a Maintenance Mode Page in Atria

Overview

This article shows how to setup a Maintenance Mode Page in Atria during an upgrade or maintenance schedule

Procedure

Step 1 - Create an app_offline.htm file

Create an app_offline.htm file that will be used as a page during the maintenance mode. An example is available HERE
Example maintenance mode page looks like this:

Step 2 - Copy app_offline.htm file

This will take effect immediately, so make sure to just apply this step during the maintenance
After creating/editing the app_offline.htm file, copy this into the WebForms root folder on the Atria Web Server.
WebForms Folder Location : C:\inetpub\Automate101\Atria\WebForms

Step 3 - Proceed with the upgrade/maintenance

During the upgrade, the website will be showing the maintenance mode page.
AFTER doing the Update-AtriaWebComponents, the app_offline.htm file will be removed (the website will be up and running already)
Import-AtriaServiceSchema and when doing upgrade for the Remote Environment commands requires that the Atria website is up and running

Alternative Option

You may create a webpage that can be used as a redirection for the Atria Proxy - URL binding
For example:
if the Atria Proxy binding to open the Atria website is atriaweb.automate101.com
then you may setup a redirection that if Atria website is opened then it will redirect to atriawebmaintenance.automate101.com
