Updating Atria Service Account Password – v12.13

Overview

This article is a guide for Updating Atria Service Account Password both in Primary and Remote Environment. This only applies to version v12.13

Service Account Details (Core)

Both Primary and Remote Environments have 4 core service accounts

o    Atria_Config_Svc
o    Atria_Qmon_
o    Atria_DirWS_
o    Atria_Stask_

Atria_Config_Svc and Atria_DirWS_ are being used in IIS

 

Atria_DirWS_ is stored in Atria – Credentials and being used on a Server Connection


Atria_Qmon_ is being used by AtriaQueueMonitor (Windows Service)


Atria_Stask_ is being used by the Atria Scheduled Tasks

 

Updating the Atria Service Account Password

1.      In IIS, update the password on Atria Configuration WS AppPool for Atria_Config_Svc account

2.      In IIS, update the password on Atria DirectoryWS AppPool for Atria_DirWS_ account

3.      In Services, update the password on AtriaQueueMonitor service for Atria_Qmon_ account

4.      In Task Scheduler, update the password for each Atria Scheduled Task

5.      In Atria, navigate to credentials and update the password for Atria_DirWS_

After Updating the Atria Service Account Password

1.      IIS reset on the Provisioning Server – this will restart the Atria Config Service, Atria DirectoryWS
2.      IIS reset on the Web Server – this will restart the Atria Web Components
3.      AtriaQueueMonitor service restart on the Provisioning Server

For Atria Web Service (e.g. Exchange)

1.      In IIS, update the password on the Atria Web Service
2.      In Atria, navigate to credentials and update the password for the Atria Web Service account.
3.      IIS reset on the Atria Web Service server.

Test and Verify

Login into Atria
Submit Test Provisioning Requests
Monitor that the Scheduled Tasks are running based on its schedule
